Burmese Cat Hunting

Katia made this sketch of a European Burmese cat for her notebook.  She used a picture of a real cat as the model.  Can you see the similarities and differences?

Katia says: “Differences? There are no differences! I’M SO AWESOME! Hahahahahaha!”

Whatever…

Katia says:

” I drew these pictures on Martin Luther King day because I was out of school and felt bored.  Camp can be boring!!!  To honor Martin Luther King, I drew the brown cat.  I think Dr. King is awesome and this cat is awesome too.”

“The orange and white cat, Heatherpaw, is me in cat form.  I got the name from one of my favorite series, Warriors by Erin Hunter.

PS: Cats are soooooooooooooooooooo better than dogs!  No offense to dog owners. :)”

“See the two letters on the front feet?  HP stands for Heatherpaw, my Warrior name.”

Club Penguin Puffle Celebrating Christmas

Club Penguin Puffle Celebrating Christmas

Michael – This is the first time in a while that Katia and I have had a big tree in our house.  We usually have a small tree — or even just a plant! — or use a small metal tree with lights that we got from IKEA years ago.  She was excited about decorating the tree and made this ornament.  I thought it was the Grinch!  Turns out, its a puffle from Club Penguin wearing a Santa Claus hat.  Nice touch!

Katia – Hello world! Merry Christmas! Wow! I can’t believe my Dad thought that puffle was a Grinch! Does it look like it has cockroaches in its teeth? Do you think its a “bad banana with a greasy black peel“!?  I don’t.  Ho Ho Ho!!

Michael – Ok, check out the resemblence.  I think people could easily see how I confused a GREEN puffle wearing a SANTA CLAUS hat with the Grinch.  Whatever the case, we’re saying to everyone: Happy Holidays, Meery Christmas, and Happy New Year!
